Terms of Service
Last updated October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Social Plane at social-plane.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Agreement to these terms
Social Plane (“Social Plane”, “we”, “us”) provides a workspace for composing, scheduling, and publishing social media content. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Social Plane. You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for ensuring the information you provide is accurate. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Connected third-party accounts
Social Plane lets you connect Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts through Meta’s authorization flows. By connecting an account, you represent that you are authorised to manage it and to grant us the permissions you approve. Your use of Facebook and Instagram remains subject to Meta’s own terms and policies. We are not responsible for actions Meta takes on your accounts, including restrictions, removals, or changes to its APIs.
You can disconnect an account at any time from the Accounts screen. On disconnect, we delete the stored access token for that account.
4. Your content and permission to use it
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit your content solely to operate the service and deliver it to the accounts you select. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a reasonable period or as required by law.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights needed to publish it. Do not upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to break the law or violate Meta’s terms.
- Publish spam, malware, deceptive content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access.
- Probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer or resell the service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages or to evade platform rate limits or safeguards.
6. Our intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or other intellectual property except the limited right to use the service.
7. Third-party services
The service integrates with third-party platforms, including Meta’s Facebook and Instagram APIs, and relies on hosting and storage providers. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, or practices. Their terms may apply to your use of them.
8. Scheduling, delivery, and availability
We work to publish scheduled content on time, but delivery depends on third-party platforms and network conditions. We do not guarantee that a post will be published at an exact time, that a platform will accept it, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Platform rate limits, outages, permission changes, and content policies can cause failures. You are responsible for reviewing scheduled content and for monitoring important campaigns.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the service would create a risk to us or others. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and we will delete or anonymise your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that any content will be published successfully.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, your connected accounts, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Social Plane is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here and revise the “last updated” date. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
